Where did you go to school (high school and college)?
I went to high school at Lamar High School.
I went to get my bachelors degree in Psychology at Evangel University in Springfield and then I went on to pursue my master degree in K-12 School Counselor at Evangel University as well.
What have you learned about your position?
Every day is a new day as the school counselor. No day is the same and that is one thing that I love about my job. I have also learned over the past 2 years how much I love this school and the students in it! I care so much about each and every person and I look forward to coming to school everyday.
Was the education that you received hard and was it worth it?
I went to college for 7 years and I can most definitely say it was worth it. I now get to do what I love every day! Evangel University shaped me over those 7 years and I met so many wonderful people that are my best friends now! It was also very challenging but it has helped me believe I can do anything if I set my mind to it!
Do you enjoy your position at Bronaugh R-VII?
Absolutely! I have to drive 45 minutes to work everyday but it is SO worth it! I take so much pride and honor in working at Bronaugh with the amazing staff and students! I love and enjoy helping students and teachers in anyway that I can!
